Hi all
Am putting together a one-day event for managers within an organisation that are seeking to build competency within managers to be able to coach the people they manage so they can be better at what they do. The goal is to familiarise and train the managers with a set of coaching competencies so they can do that work effectively; to be talent developers focused on ways employees can meet performance standards.
The learner will be able to…
adopt coaching behaviors, attitudes, and practices [so that they are able to lead performance review meetings with employees that engage their motivation to contribute their best work, apply their critical thinking skills to their roles, feel appreciated and clear on their learning edges.
Skills I am thinking of focussing on are below:
– effective questions
– creating accountability
– giving feedback
– creating accountability
– create climate for coaching
What I am looking for are:
exercises to train these skills and any
resources to support their learning
Thanks in advance for all pointers!
Simone
