I have referenced the Team Performance Indicators on a regular basis in our workplace during our weekly Agile stand-ups. Our organization uses Agile methodologies not just as an IT structure, but integrated throughout our culture.

You can use the TPIs selected in the Action Plans and refer to them in daily stand-ups or in scrum meetings (or any company meeting). It’s a quick way to reinforce positive behaviors from commitments made in the Action Plan, either positivity or productivity factors. By this continual reinforcement, it makes the Action Plan a living part of the team culture, instead of a one-time exercise.

An additional benefit: By referencing the TPI’s in the stand-ups, cross-functional team members will hear it, and if their team has not done a Team Diagnostic Assessment, it will pique their interest in doing so, especially if they as stakeholders are seeing improved team effectiveness from the team that has been through the TDA.
