Grounding in Intentions
Team Practice for Alignement
For ongoing coaching
This practice will help the team develops the capacity to stay focused on their collective intentions in meetings and as results, to have more effective and satisfying meetings.

Please do this practice during each team meeting for the next month.
1. At the beginning of the meeting, take 5-10 minutes, and share about :
• What is the purpose of this meeting?
• What do we envision being accomplished in this meeting?
• What will these accomplishments contribute towards?
• How is this consistent /inconsistent with our mission and common goals?
• How then do we see our way of participating in this meeting
• What our way of participating will contribute to?
2. During the meeting
• Let’s stay open and curious to all that is going on in the room.
• Let’s be grounded in our intentions.
• Let’s participate as often we see it is fitting with our intentions.
3. At the end of the meeting, take 5-10 minutes, and share about:
• What happened during the meeting?
• How did this track with our intentions?
• What did we learn about our team? About other teams?
• What actions will we take from that we have learned?
Please keep some notes of your reflections in this practice, we will share these during our next coaching session.
