I am creating a consulting and coaching practice with other coaches and we are in the stage of defining our business focus. To get our conversation started I actually used the questions to”creating your value proposition” outlined in Accelerated Learning Module 2.4. Our questions were: 1) who is the customer?; 2) what are we selling?; 3) what is our customer buying and why? 4) what is our unique brand?; 5) what difference will we make? Before we started the discussion we all summarized who we are and what we bring to the table. The value proposition questions allowed us to have a focused conversation and we were able to generate the outline of our business plan. I thought I would use this exercise which was intended to provide guidance in proposal-writing and apply these questions as part of our overall business development/start-up and it worked!

Thanks for this, Sandy. I hope your not-so-new-now business is thriving!
